Mietze Conte

Mietze Conte is the electronic music side project of Matthias Oldofredi, an Austrian artist better known under his main alias filous. Launched in 2022 with the debut single "bunnybunnybunny" and the EP "Nervous," the project pioneers a fast-paced, uninhibited euro-dance-pop sound rooted in the Austrian Alps. Oldofredi has described Mietze Conte as a way to return to experimenting and having fun without overthinking the music. Since 2022, Mietze Conte has been prolific: EPs "Under my Bed" and "dreaming of your latte art" followed in 2023, and the debut album "Mietzee" arrived in July 2024, followed by the ambient album "ee oo" and a collaborative record with Otto Benson called "Hobby's." The project performed a sold-out run of shows in Australia in 2024 alongside appearances across Europe and the UK, building a dedicated audience for its eclectic and uninhibited electronic movement.
