Ko Shin Moon is a Paris-based psych-electronic act that blends acoustic instruments from various regions of the world with analog devices, electronic arrangements, sampling, and field recordings. Their music creates a multicolored collage of hybrid sounds, drawing from acid dabke, Turkish-Greek disco, cosmic raï, new beat molam, Tibetan ambient, and rickshaw dance music. The group's self-titled debut LP was released on Akuphone in 2017, followed by releases including Sîn, Leïla Nova, Miniature I & II, and 78 Fragments. Ko Shin Moon's genre-defying approach to world music has earned them a reputation as one of the most adventurous and original acts in the contemporary psychedelic and electronic music landscape.
