Acopia is an atmospheric trio from Naarm/Melbourne, formed in 2018 by Kate Durman, Lachlan McGeehan, and Morgan Wright. Their music blends elements of dream-pop, shoegaze, slowcore, and electronic music, building songs on mood, texture, and quiet emotional appeal. Their debut album Chances was released in 2022 followed by a self-titled LP in 2023, earning them sold-out headline shows across the UK, Europe, and Australia. They have performed at festivals like Wide Awake, Les Nuits Botanique, and Golden Plains, and shared stages with artists including Bar Italia, Chanel Beads, and Daniel Avery.
