ULTRA SUNN

ULTRA SUNN is a Belgian coldwave and EBM duo from Brussels, formed in 2019 by Gaelle and Sam. Sam's deep, dark vocals unfold over Gaelle's carefully tailored setup of analog synthesizers and industrial drum machines, creating dancing, luminous, and hypnotic hymns. Their debut EP drew immediate attention, and the 2020 single "Keep Your Eyes Peeled" catapulted them to international recognition, leading to tours spanning Brussels, Berlin, London, São Paulo, Mexico, and Calgary. Endorsed by pioneers of the genre, they have shared stages with Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, DAF, and A Split Second, and are signed to Artoffact Records. Beyond their infectious sound, ULTRA SUNN are outspoken advocates for gender equality and mental health, ensuring their gigs serve as safe spaces for everyone. Their debut album "US" (2024) consolidated their reputation as one of Europe's most exciting electronic acts, followed by "The Beast In You" (2025). Their music blends EBM, New Beat, darkwave, and post-punk into a signature style rooted in the Sound of Belgium tradition, fueled equally by the couple's passions for visual arts and fashion design.
