Nausia

Nausia is a Copenhagen-based quintet featuring two saxophones, guitar, bass, and drums. Emerging onto the scene in 2020, the band quickly drew attention with their debut and sophomore album Good Intentions (2021), which earned five stars in Gaffa and a glowing review from legendary rock journalist David Fricke in MOJO Magazine. They have performed at Roskilde Festival, SPOT Festival, and Copenhagen Jazz Festival. Often described as doom-jazz, Nausia's sound shifts between hypnotic, spiritual trance and wild, euphoric outbursts, drawing on spiritual jazz, alternative rock, noise, and minimalism. Their third album Finding a Circle (2025), produced by Jacob Günther, reflects a tight musical camaraderie and a search for solace amidst the anxieties of modern life.
