Jamie Grey is an English singer-songwriter from Redcar in Northeast England, whose powerful, emotionally raw music spans pop, folk, and soul. He gained national attention as a semifinalist on The Voice UK in 2018, where he performed on Team Olly Murs, but his career extends well beyond the television stage—he notably co-wrote songs for James Arthur, with nine of his compositions appearing on Arthur's number one album Bitter Sweet Love. Grey's own releases have achieved remarkable success, with his piano ballad Arms Around You amassing over 11 million streams after topping Spotify's Sad Songs playlist for eight months, and his viral hit What You're Running From surpassing 20 million streams. His acoustic guitar- and piano-based songwriting, woven together by raw and powerful lyrics, has established him as one of the most compelling independent voices in British pop.
