By Storm is the new project of the remaining members of Injury Reserve — Nathaniel Ritchie and Parker Corey — formed in July 2023 after the passing of founding member Stepa J. Groggs. The name pays homage to "Bye Storm," the final track on Injury Reserve's acclaimed album By The Time I Get To Phoenix. Continuing the tradition of wildly abstract, boundary-pushing rap music, By Storm released their debut album My Ghosts Go Ghost in January 2026. Their sound spans experimental hip-hop, neo-psychedelia, and abstract rap, pushing the boundaries of what hip-hop can be while honoring the legacy of their previous work together.
