Bb trickz, born Belize Nicolau Kazi on April 28, 2000, is a Spanish rapper from Barcelona, Catalonia. The daughter of a Canadian mother of Bengali descent and a father who is a DJ and record producer known as An Der Beat, she grew up immersed in music. Her stage name is derived from Beatrix, the protagonist of the 2003 film Kill Bill. In September 2022, she decided to pursue rapping professionally, and by 2023 she had released her first two EPs, Trickstar and Sadtrickz. Her explosive rise came in early 2024 when a snippet of her song "Bambi" went viral on TikTok, catapulting her into the spotlight. Her drill-influenced tracks, typically around 90 seconds long, draw from American hip-hop and sample drill styles, delivered with a provocative, trash-talking persona that caught the attention of Charli XCX. Dazed hailed her as a provocateur "changing the face of Spanish rap," while Rolling Stone and Ones to Watch have profiled her as one of hip-hop's most exciting new voices.
