VANSIND

VANSIND is a seven-headed Danish folk metal band formed in the summer of 2019, with members from across Denmark based in Slagelse. The band provides melodies inspired by Nordic folk music meeting solid metal, combining rumbling growls with clean female singing, all anchored in lyrical themes drawn from the darker side of Norse mythology and Scandinavian history. After a promising EP in 2021, VANSIND released their debut album "Mørket" (2023) to enthusiastic reception and have since performed on major European stages including Copenhell, Cernunnos Pagan Fest in Paris, Ragnarök Festival in Germany, and Warhorns Vikings in the UK. Their highly anticipated sophomore album "Hævnen" is set for release in May 2026 via Mighty Music.
