Tom Meighan

Tom Meighan is best known as the former lead vocalist of the English indie rock band Kasabian, hailing from Leicester, England. He was a founding member of Kasabian when the band formed in 1997, contributing to their distinctive blend of alternative rock, indie rock, and electronic music influences. His powerful, raspy vocal style became a signature element of the band's sound throughout their rise in the British rock scene. During his time with Kasabian from 1997 to 2020, Meighan helped the band achieve massive success with six UK number-one albums, including their self-titled debut (2004), Empire (2006), and West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (2009). The band became festival headliners across Europe and earned multiple awards including Q Awards and NME Awards. After departing Kasabian in 2020, Meighan pursued a solo career, releasing solo material and continuing to perform.
