The Hardkiss is a Ukrainian alternative rock band from Kyiv, formed in 2011. The band is fronted by the charismatic vocalist Yulia Sanina, alongside guitarist Val Bebko, bassist Kreechy, and other members. Their sound spans alternative rock, electronic rock, and indie pop, characterized by Sanina's powerful vocals and the band's dynamic, visually stunning live performances. The Hardkiss became one of Ukraine's biggest bands, winning multiple awards and representing their country at major music events. Albums including "Stones and Honey" (2014) and "Залізна ластівка" (2018) showcase their ability to blend Western alternative rock influences with distinctly Ukrainian musical sensibilities. In the face of the ongoing conflict, the band has become cultural ambassadors for Ukraine, continuing to tour internationally and using their platform to raise awareness about their country's resilience.
