Rigmor

Rigmor is a Danish indie rock band formed in 2018 in Aarhus, Denmark. The group consists of Sarah Wichmann on vocals and guitar, Oliver Stewart on guitar, Victor Sousa on bass, and Lasse Lykke on drums. Their early material was built around the poetry of legendary Danish punk poet Michael Strunge, whose explosive emotional range translated naturally into their energetic, Danish-language rock songs. Their debut album "Glade blinde born" (2022) earned critical acclaim. Their second album "Vaelter vi morket" followed in March 2024. Rigmor has grown into one of Denmark's most notable young rock acts, performing at Roskilde Festival and headlining Store VEGA in Copenhagen. While Strunge's influence has faded from their more recent work, the band retains its characteristic intensity and Danish-language lyricism, with approximately 82,700 monthly Spotify listeners.
