Rasmus Walter

Rasmus Walter Hansen is a Danish singer-songwriter and guitarist from Aarhus, born February 5, 1978. He first came to prominence as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the Danish indie rock band Grand Avenue, formed in 2001. Grand Avenue enjoyed moderate success before Rasmus transitioned to a solo career, releasing his self-titled debut album in 2011, led by the single "Dybt vand." As a solo artist, Rasmus Walter sings predominantly in Danish and is known for his smooth vocal style and emotionally resonant pop-rock songwriting. He has released multiple albums including "Lige her lige nu" (2013) and continued releasing music through at least 2021. With approximately 72,000 monthly Spotify listeners, he remains a well-established name in Danish pop-rock.
