Persecutor

Persecutor is a Danish thrash metal and metalcore band from Horsens, Midtjylland, Denmark. The band's history stretches back to 2011 when it was originally formed as 13 Bloodlines. After going through a name change to Desecrator in 2013, they settled on the name Persecutor in 2016. Their sound is characterized by fast, heavy riffs with a twist of melodic and catchy hooks, blending thrash metal aggression with metalcore elements. Their discography includes the albums "Rebirth" (2019), "Vendetta" (2023), and "Dystopian Conquest" (2024). Persecutor is active in the broader Danish metal scene and has performed at major Danish festivals including Copenhell 2024, where they kicked off the festival. The current lineup includes Benjamin Stage, Christopher Hejgaard, Christian Andres Almanza, and Stefan Sorensen.
