Karoline Funder

Karoline Funder is a Danish singer-songwriter whose organic, guitar-driven sound draws sonic inspiration from the American indie folk scene while channeling deeply personal themes of emotional and relational unease. Through thoughtful and honest songwriting, she captures the intense complexity found in close relationships, singing about the unspoken things that concern and frighten us. Her debut single Vores Forhandling quickly established her as one of the most promising new names in Danish music, earning praise from Politiken and a place on Soundvenue's annual Breakin' Sound list. After a live debut at Syd For Solen in summer 2024, her trajectory accelerated rapidly, with performances at SPOT Festival, Roskilde Festival, and Smukfest in 2025, followed by sold-out headline shows in Aarhus and Copenhagen.
