Pumpehuset, Copenhagen
Julie Pavon is a Danish-Honduran singer and electronic artist born in 1999 who grew up in Aarhus before relocating to Copenhagen. Her combustible blend of impassioned lyrics and club-geared beats has drawn comparisons to Charlotte Adigéry and Kelly Lee Owens, with Danish critics dubbing her the country's fiercest live performer. Pavon debuted in 2020 with the infectious single Herd Animals, which received widespread media attention, followed by Jealous, which premiered on Gilles Peterson at BBC and was played on radio stations in over 13 countries. Her debut album Born With Heartbreak, released in September 2025, explores exhilaration and distress through grand electronic melodrama, cementing her reputation as one of the most exciting new voices in Danish music.
