HAEVN (NL)

HAEVN is a Dutch indie pop band from Amsterdam, founded in 2015 by singer-songwriter Marijn van der Meer and film soundtrack composer Jorrit Kleijnen. The duo began writing music together while working on a film score, a collaboration that produced the songs Where the Heart Is and Finding Out More, the latter of which appeared in a BMW commercial and introduced their cinematic sound to a global audience. The band's 2018 debut album Eyes Closed captivated listeners worldwide, garnering over half a billion streams with timeless tracks like Back In The Water and Fortitude. HAEVN, which also includes guitarist Bram Doreleijers, bassist Mart Jeninga, and drummer David Broeders, have received nominations at the Edison Awards and 3FM Awards, and performed at prestigious festivals including Lowlands and Eurosonic Noorderslag. With 1.4 million monthly Spotify listeners, they continue to blend sweeping melodies with intimate songwriting.
