Blæst

Blæst is one of Denmark's most beloved live acts, formed in 2019 by childhood friends Lauge Kjærulf (drums) and Valentin Buchwald (bass), who met at their music school in Næstved when they were eight and nine years old. Guitarist Anders Bondo joined to complete the lineup, and the band describes their music as naive everyday poetry that people can dance to. Their sound draws inspiration from Tom Misch and Snarky Puppy, blending groovy instrumentation with relatable Danish-language lyrics. After their gold-certified 2024 album Dine Venner and the honor of opening Roskilde Festival's revered Orange Stage, Blæst has cemented its place as one of Denmark's most exciting acts.
