Allan Olsen & Det Sidste Slæng

Allan Olsen is a Danish folk-rock singer-songwriter born on March 18, 1956, in Grønholt, Vendsyssel. Inspired by The Who, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Randy Newman, he began performing in the 1970s before signing his first record contract in 1989. From 1983 to 1992, he was part of Dalton, a supergroup trio with Lars Lilholt and Johnny Madsen. His 1996 album Jern earned a Danish Grammy, cementing his status as one of Denmark's most beloved songwriters. Known for live performances that combine his songs with satirical anecdotes, Olsen delivers music either acoustically or with a rock band. His 2026 tour with Det Sidste Slæng brings together an all-star Danish backing band for what he describes as his final ensemble outing.
